Helsinki International Week 2009 is almost here! Our team has been working hard to provide you a stunning week full of program. The past 5 months have been full of meetings, phone calls, doodles and paperwork. Oh yeah, and some rather legendary moments with a game called Box Head… Lol! But don’t worry; you’ll learn it too! And afterwards you’ll wish you’d never even heard about it…
Get ready for a week full of fun, friends, snow (!) and interesting company presentations as well as some Finnish culture. This year’s program has a couple of new twists we’re sure you’ll gonna love! I can’t thank my team enough for all the effort they’ve gone through to get this week organized. We’ve still got work to do, but most of the hard work has already been done. Soon it’s time for us all to enjoy another great International Week! We can’t wait for our guests to arrive.
After hours of careful planning, the week has started to take shape and our marketing campaign at the Walrus fair was a great success. Over a 100 curious new students showed their interest towards hosting our international guests. Most of them had heard of our week from other students and couldn’t wait to get in. Great to see such enthusiasm. The search for guests and hosts is still on. So what are you waiting for, join us for a great week!
Summer may be turning into fall and the lectures have started, but it also means that our Week is getting closer day by day! So hold on, only a month to go!
Hope you’re as excited as I am. See you all soon!

Katrin Riisla
